By official goodwill visits to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the President of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Mr. Alexander Gregoryevich Lukashenko. As they officially invited me, it is very good for the country as I paid goodwill state and official visits. In addition, I was able to address the subject of bilateral cooperation in its entirety with both of them during the trips of goodwill visits to the two countries, especially economic cooperation and the expansion of exchanges between the two countries, especially the tourism sector.

We had discussion of problems regarding education, science and technology, health, sports, culture and law enforcement and defence domains and both of the countries had completely accepted my clarification regarding political events and transformations. And I explained that under the situation to hold general election in Myanmar.

Then they backed them up, saying they would send their observer delegations to the next general election. All the better, the bilateral the meetings enable quite a lot of trust to be built. I notice that the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus as well as their peoples are more involved in Myanmar.

This is a good thing for us (the future country or the future of this country). And I told them that I would hold an election multi-party democracy election. I will do it staunchly. If there is a sincere desire for a multi-party democracy system, do not oppose it but work with it. By doing so, we shall make our country successful. I dare say our country will most certainly succeed. And this is my view for the people Let me say this. Success in everythingI believe will be attained.

To all the people of the motherland of Myanmar, I wish good health and that they are able to do everything for development. If they believe in multi-party democracy, I would like to request all of them to be on the side of cooperation. It is a good thing for the country and I thank you very much.
