Let’s discuss the inescapable

Death is still something of a taboo but our days on this plane are limited so why not see what it takes to live your best life today and also to exit this realm better (for you and those you love) when death comes calling at “Death Fest 2025: Better Living, Better Leaving.”

The death-awareness fest will run from March 21-23 at Impact Exhibition Hall 6 and is brought to you by Peaceful Death, The Cloud, Chulalongkorn Hospital’s Thai Red Cross, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Suan Mokkh Bangkok and others.

It deals with elder care, palliative care and pre-death and post-death preparation. It is not to bum out visitors about death, but to help them prepare for death while they still can — because it can be a slow march toward death or it can be a sudden one — and achieve peace of mind for themselves, their families, friends, and support networks. Most importantly, we are gonna die, let us be honest.

At the Death Fest, also, learn how to start planning for that “quality death” — and how to communicate your final wishes to your family or carer. Talk about death → Destigmatise the topic of death. Search for services and options that prepare you for death whether you’re wealthy or financially struggling.

“Death Fest 2025” will feature seminars in 20 themes, eight workshop for hands-on instruction, an exhibition and 75 booths. The featured seminars include how to manage your earthly possessions and protect your rights and your loved ones after death through your will, how to find self-worth (and yourself) once you retire, what to know about palliative care and a deeper look at funerals of various faiths. Among them are death rehearsal; ancient breathing exercises; and writing e-living wills.

Browse 75 booths and discover unique services and products such as travel agency services for elders and families, toys for elders, dog therapy, mycelium mushroom coffins for pets, funeral planners, wreaths for rent, and more. Visit Death Fest’s Facebook for more news.
