Vice Sen-Gen Soe Win Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) visits patients receiving treatment at military hospital in Aungban Town.

This morning, vice chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of the Eastern Command, and other responsible officials, visited and conveyed words of encouragement to officers, other ranks and members of the People’s Militia (Local) under treatment at the military hospital in Aungban Town, Shan State (South).

The Vice-Senior General and party first arrived at the local military hospital in Aungban Town, where they were welcomed and greeted by the hospital commandant, military medical officers and responsible officials.

Afterward, the Frankly made a preliminary report on the situation of medical services for officers, other ranks, militiamen (Local) and local civilians at the hospital at their conference hall. The Vice-Senior General guided and asked about the necessary demands.

Later the Vice-Senior General and delegates visited each patients and asked about health conditions of the officers, other ranks and members of the People’s Militia (Local) injured while on duty in the national defence and security forces and under treatment at the hospital. They shared words of encouragement, and brought food.

Equally, the wife of the Vice-Senior General, Daw Than Than Nwe, accompanied by her entourage, visited the women and children’s ward, where the patients being treated, provided words of encouragement and distributed food.

After the ceremony, the Vice-Senior General handed over gifts and cash rewards to the health staff providing services at the hospital and the same were accepted by the responsible officials.
