Maison Margiela and Christian Louboutin launch their inaugural joint prêt-à-porter collection. The shoe capsule is the follow-up to the artistic exchange curated between creative director John Galliano and Christian Louboutin during the Maison Margiela 2024 Artisanal haute couture presentation January 2024. This reconsideration brings the dressmaker and the shoemaker together and they reinterpret the key elements of their creative languages through two very different propositions. The Maison Margiela by Christian Louboutin collection includes three styles that reinterprets the maison’s signature Tabi via Christian Louboutin’s curvaceous, feminine design language, all slathered in the designer’s signature red sole. “Loro Piana Live” is the first exhibition at the storied Italian luxury brand in tribute to its centennial milestone. Loro Piana’s Quest for Excellence,” at the Museum of Art Pudong, Shanghai’s prestigious art space, through May 5.
