Foreign workers at Myanmar scam centres go home from Tak to Ethiopia

On Tuesday, Tak authorities transferred 45 foreign nationals from Scam centres in Myanmar to Ethiopian officials for repatriation.

They led the 45 foreigners, 37 men and eight women, to the 310th Military Circle in Tak province, according to the Tak public relations office which said the handover was witnessed by deputy Tak governor Sawanit Suriyakul, defence volunteers and officials from the Tak provincial social development and human security office.

They were greeted around 10.30am on Tuesday by representatives of the Ethiopian embassy in New Delhi, India.

The foreign nationals were to be taken to Suvarnabhumi airport to board a flight.
