Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister attends honorary titles ceremony for 2025

This morning, the ceremony for conferring successful candidates of honorary titles for the 2025 was organized at Thabin Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman. Prior to this, an address was given by Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing at the ceremony and honorary titles were conferred.

It was attended by Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General and Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, union level dignitaries, union ministers and wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, deputy ministers, officials and title recipients and families.

While delivering his address the Senior General said that the strength of all nationalities and their combined effort is vital at a time when all-sided efforts are being constructed for the peace, stability, progress and modernization of the country. It will take the involvement of everyone who has any spiritual power / awareness and physical and intellectual ability, under the leadership of the State, to achieve success. Also, there are honorable persons who did brilliant performances as they revealed their above average diligence, perseverance and strength. Celebrating the unique significance of the efforts of these persons, the nation is awarding them honorary titles and badges on the day of Independence Day and other significant days for their insatiable and brilliant selfless and daring efforts in every respect to the extent of their intelligence and technical knowledge under the leadership of the State.

In fact; persons who rendered brilliant achievements in nationbuilding task, laid life in preserving Our Three Main National Causes, the national policy, made efforts in establishing social peace, rule of law, made extraordinary endeavours for the emergence of a modern and developed nation in line with the political, economic and social targets, performed diplomatic duties with a world record in the international relations, introduced a world level creation or innovation in the distinct fields of science and arts, served the national interest with professional profound in literature and fine arts are the ideals of the State. The SAC is awarding titles and titles to such persons annually in honor of the exceptional work they had done in the national interest.

Moreover, the State Administration Council bestows honorary titles and honors not only on citizens who deserve it but also on foreign friends who have already walked hand in hand together for the good of Myanmar. This is in order to further develop the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.

A total of 50 people were awarded at today”s honorary title conferment ceremony. Among them are 13 Sithu title holders, 3 Thura title holders, 17 Zeya Kyawhtin title holders, 14 Wunna Kyaw htin title holders, 1 Alinkar Kyaw Swa title holder, and 2 Theikpa Kyaw Swa title holders. These distinctions were awarded on January 4 (Day of Dependence) and March 2 (Cultivators’ Day) in 2025.

Five-Point Road map, Nine Objectives, and Two National Goals by the government reflect its depth and breadth in implementation. For example, fusion national prosperity initiatives include ensuring the rule of law, security, facilitating transportation, peaceful learning, and the well-being of the people in their daily lives. Specific activities and responsibilities across sectors are identified for each goal and objective.
